Filtration Solutions GmbH delivered a pressure surge protected model of its AERSTAR filter with a cleaning nozzle for a process that is classified as a pharmaceutical application regarding hygiene requirements.

The production plant containing the LTG AEROB filter is located in a separate clean room in order to eliminate the possibility of product contamination. In the process itself, citric acid is very finely powdered and then added to pharmaceutical drugs. The entire
production plant is explosion protected and equipped with flameless explosion pressure relief in the room. Previously, the customer had relied on the products of a competitor. However, the quality of the technical solution and the design of the LTG AEROB components convinced the customer to start working with LTG AEROB® Filtration Solutions GmbH.
